Instead of using the export/import functionality, you can also go into your server and copy all the relevant data from your old blog database tables into your new blog tables.
Here is how to do it in phpMyAdmin -

Click on the table you want to copy (left side of screen).

I never intended to write publicly about why I left Google, but it seems necessary to give people some facts that they can refer to, and not have people speculating and making stuff up."
Editors Note: Noticing this fellows, title, I know longer need to worry about being so self referential, It should be fairly obvious to most of my readers by now all 26 of them that this is going to be my new style from here on in. I used to typically blog in this fashion, of course utilizing the very handle blog this button, yet there was a time I was doing more of my own titles and cutting and pasting, with back-links and attribution of course.
Yet back then, my personal blogging held a greater meaning. Less people were doing, I felt so kind of special and unique. Now its kind of like, oh you have a blog, who doesn't yet overall I know its a good thing to do for a whole variety of reasons.

Yet cycling was what this man did to stay in shape, in truth he very quick and sharp mind. The thing is he was not living his life in some sort of delay mode, he was doing what he was passionate about right now.
The opportunity of a lifetime must be seized during the lifetime of the opportunity.
That was a part of what Yakov or Jacob as many of his friend in Passaic NJ, knew him by, was kind of about that. He had his plans and goals which he freely shared, and also a very kind smile, and quick wit.

People who know me well may see me as being somewhat enigmatic. I have these grand plans on some world-wide scale, yet sometimes truly drop the ball, upon doing the actual things that would be necessary to bring my dreams and visions into the "right now" kind of moment.
I suppose between how I viewed Jacob (we were fairly close as acquaintances and I got to know him better over a passover meal as well as a Shabbos meal) and the way Rabbi Eisenman (Ahavas Israel, Passaic NJ) delivered his Eulogy yesterday, has given me an abundance of things to contemplate.

There are many of us, myself included, who sometimes kind of go through the motions, or perhaps feel as if they are sitting on the sidelines, watching the time of our lives slowly slipping by. Then there are others, far fewer in numbers I suppose, Like Jacob (Yaakov) Preuss, who are actually doing something, putting in the required effort at least to try, to start to begin the act, to make the "new thing" happen.
Yet, we often come to find out that G-d may indeed have other plans for us. Perhaps Yaakov's special abilities were truly needed for some important task in the next world.
Perhaps Jacob Preuss had completed his specific task ahead time, potentially inspiring an entire generation of Baby Boomers who need a wake up call, to show them that time is a precious commodity that is slipping quietly by every single second of the day.
The time to do what we have come into this world is truly upon us now. So many events that seem to be rapidly unfolding right before our very eyes should be providing enough clear signals for us all to see. These are very special times we live in, we have our role to play in this "Brave New World"-A Huxley.
Of course if we choose to, we can always simply pull our shades and simply ignore try to ignore the reality of how things are truly different today, then they have ever been before.
I rewrote this piece from a previous article that I had written with one specific person in mind to share with. I had hoped to make this article more of a summary, just hitting the highlights.
Yet that is not my thing. I think and ponder over things deeply, and some amount of words are needed to convey my message. Those who need the little sound bites, and snippets of pre-digested thoughts can look elsewhere. Indeed in my WordPress websites I use the < more > tag frequently, knowing very few will read below the fold.
Todays Cloud is here to tell you the old paradigms of yesteryear no longer apply. We need to engage our individual intellect in think, and yes think and act, on and for our own behalf. No one other than yourself can possibly really and truthfully figure out what is the best course of action.
When you do your best, and follow the signals of your heart, and the wisdom of your mind, then you will not need to worry that you will simply be spinning your wheels and getting nowhere.
Yes, my friend Jacob Preuss was taken away from us, sooner then maybe we feel was his time. Yet Yaakov- Jacob Preuss had that great moment, that same moment we all have right now. There is so much that can be done with the the things we are blessed with. The best that we can do is to constantly strive, even though sometimes its an uphill or steep grade, we need to push ourselves to accomplish what we came into this world to do.
We have to be ready at a moments notice to accept that subtle shift which seems to be quietly slipping into this world. That paradigm-shift which may no longer seek to constantly discourage the dreamers, innovators, inventors, and creators of our new and improved "Brave New World".
